PURPOSE
The School is intended to "put skin on" the vision of Faith Community Church: "To Glorify God by reaching the lost and growing the found through the life-changing truth of Christ." It is intended to serve the community and put to good use the facilities with which we have been blessed.

TEACHING PHILOSOPHY
Our model for teacher-student relationships is Jesus and his disciples. The student practices submission to Christ by submitting to the teacher, the teacher serves Christ by serving the student.

AESTHETIC PHILOSOPHY
"Consider the lilies, how they grow . . ." The reason we use a flower as our logo is that all of us are like flowers. This means: 1. Art is a gift of glorious beauty from God: "You have crowned [man] with glory and honor." Just as God clothes the flower he also clothes us. 2. Our arts are short-lived compared to God: "all [man's] glory is like the flowers of the field. . . the grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of our God stands forever." Therefore we praise God, that he so overflows with beauty, and that he so continually bestows it upon us his creatures.
